Title: Quality Control Inspector

Report To: Director of Quality
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have 3+ years aerospace manufacturing metal experience.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals these skills are important for measuring, calibrating, and calculating specifications.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply contractual requirements, standards, specifications, governmental regulations, or technical procedures.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems and an understanding of how the system works and basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Office.
- Must have a solid understanding of Basic GD&T Concepts and a solid ability to interpret Engineering Drawings & Work Instructions.
- 1st article and final inspection per drawing and router instructions.
- Populate Inspection reports (FAIR) per AS9102.
- Verify in-process inspection Reports and Router operations have been completed by the operators and verify parts counts.
- Must have experience and proficiency working with Quality Control Inspection Hand & Bench Tools, e.g.: various micrometers, bore gages, depth gages, dial indicators, drop indicators, height gages, optical comparators, hardness checkers, profilometers, etc.
- Segregate non-conforming material and generate NCR Reports.
- Manage Final Inspection activities to meet daily shipment schedules.
